James Kane

James Kane is an alternative singer/songwriter whose dramatic and sometimes uplifting brand of melancholia takes you on a journey traversing the edges between dark pop and alternative rock with his dynamic vocals and soulful guitar playing.

Influenced by Manic Street Preachers, Anna Calvi, Mark Lanegan, Pixies and Leonard Cohen amongst others, James Kane’s music is the expression of his soul and his own take on the exploration of the human condition.

His second single “Bring Me Home” is out now with more songs in the pipeline! Having gained praise at solo acoustic shows supporting Mark Chadwick (Levellers), Spear of Destiny, Sound of the Sirens, Ginger Wildheart & the Sinners, Sarabeth Tucek and Mark Morris the next step is playing live to more audiences with a 3 piece band as well as more solo shows!
