In the Shadows is about facing your fears in order to find meaning or reward or just to follow your dreams. It's about the hero journey where you only get the "gold" once you've overcome the obstacles. It's personal as it's my first release and signifies me overcoming my own fear of showing the world my music which for me is equivalent to baring my naked soul to anyone who listens!
